Goodies & Fun Stuff
Our bag of goodies is getting fuller. What do we have, thus far?
Inspirational books
Over the years some magnificent books have been written that are truly
empowering. Several of these are no longer copyright protected (because
a copyright is limited in time), and can now be distributed freely. At
present, we've got two entire books that you can read online (or download
to read offline):
- The Game of Life and how
to play it, by Florence Scovel Shinn. One of my favourites.
In an easily accessible style, the fundamentals of spirituality are
explained with straightforward examples. Keep in mind though, that she
taught young christians in New York, and therefore uses a lot of references
to the Bible. In spite of that, definitely worthwhile. (PDF, 137 KB,
A4 format).
- As A Man Thinketh,
by James Allen. Your thoughts create your reality. James Allen explains
how most, if not all, of the circumstances we meet in life, are the
result of our thoughts. (PDF, 45 KB, A4 format).
Self-exploration goodies
If you want to find out more about yourself in a fun way, this is where
you have to be. On offer are:
- a cool online numerology program.
This little program asks you for your birthday, and then calculates
the numerological archetype that rules your life. It's based on Aleister
Crowley's Toth Tarot.
- Online Tarot Readings:
- A "daily 5" reading.
This is a reading you can do every day. It gives you feedback on
what the day is like on four levels (physical, emotional, mental
and spiritual). A fifth card tells you about the overall energy
of the day.
- The (famous) Celtic Cross reading.
This is more of an in-depth reading with ten cards that gives you
feedback on a certain question. Think of your question before clicking
the link, as the results are shown immediately.

Sacred Geometry Mandalas
I'm not really into sacred geometry, but recently, during meditation,
I start seeing different patterns. I've tried to recreate some of them.
These attempts don't do the images I see any justice, as the patterns
constantly change... Still, these can be used as mandalas for meditation.
Click on the thumbnails below to see the full size versions. (They will
